Experiencing stomach pain, frequent bloating, headaches, or skin issues?

These health symptoms could be related to the foods you consume on a daily basis. By taking a food sensitivity test you can get insights on which of these foods may be causing you discomfort, so you can start eliminating them from your diet.

The test discovers how your body reacts to 96 different foods, and narrows down which ones you can consider eliminating from your diet.

Our test measures your immune system's IgG reactivity to 96 foods

The results show whether you have a Normal, Mild, Moderate or High Sensitivity to each food based on your IgG reactivity.

A higher reactivity level can mean that the food may be causing you health symptoms and you could benefit from temporarily eliminating it from your diet. A guide on food elimination comes with your test report!

What is an IgG Food Sensitivity Test? What does the test measure?
Immunoglobulin G (IgG) is a type of antibody produced by the body in reaction to foreign particles as part of the immune response. An IgG test detects the presence or absence of IgGs that are specific to certain foods. The presence of IgGs may result in an inflammatory response, which can cause you to experience certain symptoms and discomfort such as bloating, stomach pain, indigestion, gastrointestinal distress, headaches and even migraines. This test can be used as a tool to identify potential culprits if you are experiencing symptoms that might be related to the foods you are consuming.

Circle SnapShot Food Sensitivity Test measures the immunoglobulin G (IgG) antibody level in the blood serum for up to 96 common foods and food components. This test can highlight the foods that you have high reactivity to so that you can consider eliminating from your diet temporarily.
Is the blood collection process painful? What if I am afraid of needles?
The CE-certified blood collection device in our test kit is engineered to provide a virtually painless blood collection experience. Customers often describe it feels like a soft flick on the arm. When you stick the device onto your upper arm and push the button, tiny microneedles as thin as eyelashes prick the surface of the skin and retracts back into the device immediately. At the same time, this creates a vacuum for blood to drip into the tube. It's virtually painless, because the needles are designed to just prick the surface of your skin - not deep enough to trigger the pain receptors.

You can use the device on yourself or have a friend or family member help you out. The safety mechanism in the device will only allow the button to be pressed once.
What will my results tell me?
Your results will give you an idea of the foods you have been exposed to, including any hidden ingredients. These results are meant to be used in tandem with other indicators such as any symptoms you have been experiencing and your dietary habits to identify possible problematic foods in your diet.

You will get test results for 12 common food groups grouped in high, moderate, mild or normal sensitivity:
• Seeds and Nuts - Eg. Almond, Cashew nut
• Vegetables - Eg. Asparagus, Eggplant
• Seafood - Eg. Clam, Lobster
• Spices - Eg. Chicory, Curry
• Fruits - Eg. Apple, Blueberry
• Grains - Eg. Brown rice, Gluten
• Herbs - Eg. Basil, Tarragon
• Meat - Eg. Beef, Chicken
• Dairy - Eg. Butter, Cheddar cheese
• Legumes - Eg. Chickpea, Kidney bean
• Eggs - Eg. Egg white, Egg yolk
• Sugar - Honey

You will also learn about the benefits of eliminating high sensitivity food, which include tackling food sensitivity symptoms including bowel irritation, headaches, hives, itching, fatigue, flu-like aches and pains; exacerbate symptoms may also include autoimmune disorders, migraines, Irritable Bowel Syndrome, gastroesophageal reflux (GERD).
Who should and should not take this Food Sensitivity Test?
Do you experience symptoms such as bloating, abdominal pain/distress or migraines? Do you suspect it might be food related but are not sure which foods are responsible? This may be the test for you. Adverse reactions to specific foods may not only cause distressing symptoms but may even lead to chronic health conditions. This test can help you identify specific foods that may be responsible and prioritise which foods to include in a temporary elimination diet.

However, before starting a temporary elimination diet, it is crucial to know if your body is prepared to undergo such changes in your eating habits. Individuals with conditions such as anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa and other eating disorders are not recommended to follow an elimination diet. Pregnant and lactating women are also not recommended to start a temporary elimination diet if there will be drastic changes made to their current eating habits - we recommend consulting your physician first for proper diagnosis and next steps.
What’s the difference between CircleDNA sensitivity reports and Circle SnapShot Food Sensitivity reports?
CircleDNA diet sensitivity report reflects on your genetically predisposed response to a certain diet, such as your blood sugar response to high carbohydrate diet. This genetically predisposed response is determined at birth and does not change over time.

However, your actual sensitivity response can change over time as you get exposure to various foods. Circle SnapShot Food Sensitivity report reflects on your current immune reactivity towards a specific food at this point in time.
